Before the confluence with the Yukon river we turn off into a side channel and paddle to the "outskirts" of Ft Yukon. We get a ride into town and borrow Kirks old car to haul our gear to the airport. We have a nice visit with Kirk in the evening then fly to Ft Yukon the next day, spend a night there, then home to Seattle.
