We didn't plan a layer over here, but it was a wet day and we just never felt like getting started. Walking through the brush I see many large bear tracks and a huge beaver lodge and pond.

We come out of the hills onto the flats. Here the river meanders considerably. Fortunately the current is generally strong and we make good time.

	Sean found an old fishing reel here and tried to rehabilitate it.
			Many beaver lodges along the river bank.
	Example of how thin the soil is.		As the bank gets undercut the thin forest soil drools into the river.
