This is my 6th trip from Steve Allen's Canyoneering II: Technical Loop Hikes. Danny Geiger and Andrew Boudreaux joined me. Danny and I drove down and picked up Andrew at the Salt Lake airport.
On the way Danny and I stoped at a point of interested marked as "Missle Display Site". We were hoping for some cool rockery demonstration. Instead what we got were some old tanks mounted on pedistals.

Andrew arrived on time but his bag was 10 hours late. We were late getting out of the Salt Lake airport. Then we stoped to poke into Leprichaun canyon and ended up going all the way to the top of the narrows. As a result we didn't start the actual backpacking portion of the trip until late afternoon. We made it to the start of the first narrows of Long Canyon then found a camp on the benches above.
