Hidden Splendor

Sunday Megan flew back to Seattle. Marshal and Jeff drove her up to Salt Lake so that left me with a day. I flew into Hanksville for showers and laundry. Marshal got some photos of me taking off from the Hidden Splendor airport. The wind was from the south so I took off toward the narrow canyon to the south and had to make a 180 degree turn within it's confines.

	9234N at the north end of Hidden Splendor.		I was off the strip before the mid point.
	I offset to the right to give me space for the turn.		Here I'm most of the way around.
	And heading out to the north.

A couple days latter Marshal rode with me on the same departure. We then flew north east over the Swell.

	here's what that turn looks like from inside the airplane.		Kelsey Country, the red canyons just north of Hidden Splendor and the center of the swell beyond.
	Baptist draw to Chute canyon ??
