Day3

	Very cold morning.		No point waiting for the sun this morning.
			More snow covered tallus.
	Wreckage of an old airplane.		The col. It looks much easier now that we approach if from below.
	There was a moderate amount of 3rd class climbing, made challenging by snow cover.
			Final step up to the col.
	The south side.		View back. The col is to the left of the large dark region.
	We descend to this lake, circle it's right edge, then drop into the valley below.
	At the rim, debating merrits of different camp sites.		This is why I come to the Sierra - easy camping on smooth granite benches.

Day4

	Paul foraging for water.
	Close up of rock.		Marie waiting for the sun.
			On the trail up to Muir Pass.
	Nice to be on the trail. Mostly snow free.

			Muir Hut.
	Pass leading to Ionian basin. Original we considered a traverse through there an option but the dificult going in deep snow ruled that out.
	Upper part of Evolution valley, Wanda Lake. I love this wide open feeling. This is were I recomend camping.		The world of pain.
	The world of happyness.
	We drop out of the upper basin and camp on the rock peninsula below. Fine camping, but a little too deep in the valley.
