Sailing in the Gulf Islands, New Years

	We had some beautiful morning light as we left False Creek.		Marie at the helm. Gales were forcast, but it was dead calm crossing the Straight.
	Paul in the galley. Paul always does good work in the galley.		Wendy driving. The sky was clear, but it was very, very cold.
	Several of the windows leaked and Marie sealed them with the handy man's secret weapon.		More window repairs.
	Wendy and Marie attempt to refill the flask.		Marie in the gally.
	Wendy and Paul reset in the cabin. We finally got the heater working.		Wendy and Marie doing oragami.
	Wendy and Marie on the foredeck, puffed up for warmth.		I sat in the bow for a while and rested my feet on the anchor.
	Looking through some small islands toward th outer Gulf islands.		Marie cooking dinner.
	Marie sailing. The third day we got some moderate winds and were able to sail for several hours.		Suiting up for another day on the deck.
	The 4th day started out as one of those days.		But it finished up with some good sailing in beautiful evening light.

	In the evening we tucked into a small cove so that we would have solitude on New Years Eve. Wendy and Marie did the shore work.		Paul reading down below.
	New Years day is looking good from the start.		Paul working on raising the two anchors that we set down.
	Marie driving the boat as we head toward the passage out of the Gulf islands.		The winds in the straight were moderate southeastlies and we had a fantastic crossing.
	Marie's still a cutie.		Marie looking out the main hatch.
