Cross country trips.

Long cross country flight.

On 4/10/04 I did my requird long cross country flight. I choose to go Seattle, Yakima, The Dalles, along the Columbia River Gorge for a wayes, then north to Chehalis, finally returning to Seattle. I circled around Mt Raineer, Mt Adams, and Mt St. Hellens and flew north of Mt Hood, all big glaciated volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest so I though of it as the Volcano tour.

	Mt Raineer seen 20 minuts out of Seattle.		Mt Stuart.
	Snowy ridges and the Crystal Mtn ski area.		Yakima airport.
	Getting fuel at the Dalles.		Climbing out of the Dalles to fly along the gorge.
	Mt Hood.		Mt Adams.
	St Hellens and Raineer.		Emergency landing options.
	The valley through which Mt St Hellen's big eruption flowed.		River meanders near the Chehalis airport.
	Our state capitol		Returning to Puget sound.
