In 1998 Marie joined Andrew and I for a trip in the canyons east of the Escalante river. Read more in the trip journal.

	Andrew and I started this trip by bus.		Approching the confluence of Coyote canyon and the Escalanti.
	Marie wades the Escalanti.		Hiking in Steven's canyon.

	We crossed a ridge and then descended into this canyon.		As we were leaving this camp this sheep came and posed for us.

	Andrew.		As a side trip we all ran the wal to get around this pool. Here Marie positions for launch.
	There is a little bit of a ledge up there.		By here it is mostly a steep wall.
	Marie reaches for the sand.		But hits the water.
